Tigger's Story

T - I - double guh - ER! That spells Tigger!
DOB: 8/4/24

Like his namesake from Winnie the Pooh, this Tigger is truly a wonderful boy! True to his name, Tigger has a playful, bouncy, fun-fun-fun spirit that makes him completely one of a kind. He absolutely loves wand toys and will chase them with joyful determination until he’s happily worn out - bringing laughter and delight to everyone lucky enough to watch.

Tigger had a rough journey to our rescue. When he first arrived, he was scared, distrustful, and understandably overwhelmed by all the change. It took time, patience, and gentle care for him to feel safe again and settle into the happy-go-lucky cat we see today. Because of this, his transition into a new home should be slow and thoughtful - but the rewards for that patience are, as Tigger would say, “gonna be great!” We also believe Tigger will be happiest as an only cat.
What he truly wants is a person (or people) to call his own - someone to play with him, love him, admire and adore him, and continue giving him the sense of security that will allow him to blossom into a wonderful friend.

If you are interested in getting “Tigger-ized”, please submit our online adoption application at https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application.. Potential adopters need to live within 45 miles of Stamford, CT.
