Tiger Lily's Story
Hello. My name is Tiger Lily! I was named after this flower because it symbolizes resilience, courage, and strength in the face of challenges, while still retaining a soft side and beautiful exterior. I have faced many challenges in my short life. I survived my kittenhood (most likely the sole survivor among my littermates) and took care of myself (which meant dodging traffic, avoiding predators, and eating anything I could catch or scrounge). Then before I was even a year old, I became pregnant. I still managed to fend for myself, give birth to three healthy kittens (Iris, Peony, and Sol), and protect them fiercely.

Luckily, a very kind woman recognized my plight and began helping me and my “flowerchild” babies. She gave us water and food (which even contained vitamins and dewormer!), as well as socialized us so that we could enter a shelter and find our forever homes. All of my babies have found their forever home (together) and it's now my turn!

I've been waiting so patiently for the right person to walk through the door to meet me to see how very sweet I am. I'd like a gentle person and a quiet home where I'll feel safe and loved (no small children please). The volunteers say I'm a beautiful tabby and they just might be right. Being at the shelter, I have discovered that a nice warm lap to cuddle up on is rather quite enjoyable.

DOB 5/15/2024

If you're interested in Tiger Lily, we ask that you please fill out a "pre-adopt application" that can be found on our website:
https//www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application. We will contact you to schedule an appointment. Thank you.
