Tiger's Story

Tiger is a sweet, affectionate, and very friendly boy with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Cats with FIV can live normal lifespans and neutered FIV+ cats can live safely with other cats, as the virus is only transmissible through mating or fighting. Tiger was found living outdoors but was very friendly. It appears that he lived outdoors for quite awhile and it was not a happy time for him, given the condition he was in upon arrival. He is in a foster home and doing very well. His foster mom says he is just starved for affection and soaks it up whenever he has the chance. He is mellow and sweet and would likely do well in any home.

Ella's Feline Rescue Mission's Adoption Policy
Adopter completes an adoption application, which is followed by an interview to determine which cat or cats may be a good fit for their home and lifestyle. The potential adopter can then schedule a time to meet one or more cats that may be a good fit. If the rescue Directors and potential adopter feel the cat is a good fit for the adopter, the adopter signs an adoption contract, pays the adoption fee, and takes the cat home.
