Tia's Story

Meet this sweet girl Tia!

This beautiful 1-year-old girl is looking for a patient home where she can take her time getting comfortable and showing you just how sweet she really is.

When she first arrived, she was very shy, and it took some time for her to warm up. She doesn't seem to have had much experience being handled, so new people and new situations can be a little overwhelming for her. She may be especially shy at her adoption event, so please don't let that first impression fool you!

Once she feels safe, her personality begins to shine. She is incredibly affectionate and calm and has done wonderfully adjusting to her new surroundings. She's even taken the rooster crowing outside her door in stride! She loves sitting in the window and watching everything happening outside.

She gets along well with other cats and can live with respectful children 12 years and older. More than anything, she needs someone willing to give her the time and patience to build trust at her own pace.

Her previous adopter had to return her due to housing issues, through no fault of her own. Now she's looking for a forever home where she can settle in, feel safe, and finally let her sweet personality shine.

If you're willing to be patient with a shy girl, you'll get to experience something pretty special: watching her slowly realize that she is safe, loved, and finally home.

Adoption fee is $50. She is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, started on vaccines, a wellness exam and free exam at Guardian vet care with in 60 days.
