Thunder's Story
*** If you have any questions or would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, email catadoptions@nawsus.org. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response.

Thunder is a beautiful female grey kitten with a soft, smoky coat and bright, alert eyes that miss absolutely nothing. Born on 9/17/25, she has a confident little presence and a look that perfectly matches her bold spirit. Whether she’s zipping after a toy or watching the room from a favorite perch, Thunder carries herself like she knows she’s something special.

True to her name, Thunder is the ringleader of the bunch and the more playful one. She’s sweet, loves people, and enjoys interactive playtime, bringing just the right amount of kitten “crazy” without being naughty or overwhelming. She can be vocal when she feels left out—especially if she’s stuck in her foster room and knows fun is happening elsewhere—but it’s all part of her charming, expressive personality. Thunder is curious about the other kitties in her foster home and would do best being adopted with her sister Jarhead or into a home that already has another friendly, playful cat to keep her company.

Want to help care for her while she waits to find her forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as her food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives!

All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines.

A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat.
