Meet THUNDER 2
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
THUNDER 2 and her 4 siblings (BOLT - BEAN - RUBIE - SPROUT) were saved by a trapper. She called us because she knew they would not survive on the street. Mama was feral so she was TNRed and retuned to her colony.
THUNDER 2 (short hair gray tabby) - Male
Nickname Thundy-buns. This sweet big-bellied creature has our heart. He was the runt of the litter and has come back strong and healthy. He's a total goofball. He has a face shaped like a little fox and has the largest eyes of any of the babies. For being the little guy, he sure doesn't shy away from anything. He initiates playing tug of war with our large dog and it's a sight to see. He has a kink at the tip of his tail that is an endearing feature.
We have recently discovered that he is very attached to his brother BOLT. We will be going through the applications and giving preference to a family / pet parents willing to adopt both of them together. We were not aware how bonded they were until the sisters were adopted out recently. These two brothers really do need to stick together, as they are total cuddle bugs and love each other deeply!
THUNDER 2 is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 9 months old. In his foster home, he was around other kittens, older cats, children and a dog.
THUNDER 2 is currently located at a PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

MAY 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 4 pm - 9 pm. They are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.
The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
