Thumper's Story

If you're looking for a kitten to keep you on your toes, keep you entertained, and demand all of the attention in the room, then Thumper is the right match for you. Born in a litter of kittens who all, except for him, presented with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), he has grown up with four rambunctious, wobbly siblings, who all do well to tolerate his energy. Despite not presenting with CH, Thumper does sometimes have balance problems, such as falling backwards when spooked or flopping over. This doesn't stop him from racing around the room, playing with anything that might look like a toy, including his sister's tail, and later cooling down for some snuggle time with his caretakers.

Thumper is surprisingly gentle with his siblings while playing, but he is looking for another young kitten or cat to wrestle with who can handle his full energy. Used to snuggling with his siblings and playing, he would do best in a home with another cat, about a year or younger, who is looking for a playmate.

********** PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT THUMPER **********

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. Our Adoption Process: Our goal is to match the right pet with the right adopter. 1. Once we receive the completed application, we will call your vet references, personal reference, and landlord (if applicable). 2. Once you get an approval, we will set up a time for a phone call and typically can offer a video call with the potential animal. 3. All adoptions will be finalized and fees collected prior to the transport of your new family member. Adoption fees will not be refunded if you simply change your mind. We only hold an animal for adoption once a deposit has been paid or the full adoption fee has been paid. 4. We will coordinate with you to transport your new pet to one of our many transport destinations if you are not a local adopter. **We reserve the right to refuse an adoption**
