He loves exploring his surroundings and has even figured out how to open cabinets all by himself! You'll want to keep those cabinets secured and your countertops clear unless you're willing to share your snacks. <br/><br/>Thomas is VERY talkative and believes in keeping his humans informed about just about everything. He'll follow you from room to room, supervise your daily activities, and make sure you're never lonely. Meal preparation is especially exciting because Thomas loves weaving between your legs to make sure you're not forgetting about him!<br/><br/>When it comes to affection, Thomas is all in. He'll stand up on his hind legs and stretch as tall as he can to get closer to your hands for pets. He's a loving boy who sometimes gets a little carried away with his requests for attention and may give a gentle nip if you walk away before he's ready for the cuddles to end. He'll need someone who understands his communication style and respects his boundaries.<br/><br/>Thomas does well with other cats and can coexist with calm, respectful dogs. He would prefer a home without young children.<br/><br/>There is one important thing to know about Thomas: he struggles with Immune-Mediated Polyarthritis (IMPA). He requires daily medication and ongoing veterinary monitoring to keep him comfortable and healthy.
