Thomas's Story

This sleek "little" panther earned the name Thomas but we call him Tommy for short. He is very gentle and a little shy but he loves to be pet & good chin scratch. He is coming out of his shell every day and his favorite activities are to find the cuddliest bed to nap (he even likes to sprawl out on the beds instead of curl up) and people watch (very intensely sometimes - we'll be in the middle of doing something and look up to catch him very focused on just staring at us!). Once he trusts someone he does enjoy cuddling and will not hesitate to try and steal some people food! While he can be very lazy he does enjoy playtime! He likes wand toys especially.<br/>He is more hesitant to interact with potential kitty friends but tolerates his room buddies well. Due to his more timid nature he is on behavior medication to help with anxiety but might not need to stay on them if in a quiet home.<br/><br/>**Thomas does have feline asthma and requires a daily inhaler**

Shadow Cats's Adoption Policy

Cats must be kept inside at all times unless a preapproved catio is present. Cats CANNOT be declawed for any reason Cat must be provided with annual veterinarian visits Provide recommended vaccinations by your veterinarian and as required by law. Provide your cat with veterinary care when sick or injured. Cat cannot be given away as gift, adopted out to someone else to taken to a shelter We ask that all adult residents meet the cat to ensure he or she is a match for the entire family You must be at least 21 years of age. You must show a picture ID with a current address. If this isn't available, we will accept a picture ID with a current utility bill. You must live within 25 miles of Round Rock. All cats must leave in a cat carrier, so bring one with you! No carrier no cat. Cat must be microchipped and Shadow Cats must remain as primary contact for the chip. Cats cannot be rehomed, your cat must come back to Shadow Cats.
