Thomas's Story

Thomas was abandoned as a kitten with his mother, and 2 siblings. When he was found, Thomas couldn’t move his back legs. He was evaluated by UC Davis Neurology and they stated that he has no voluntary movements in his hind limbs and no sensation. We drain his bladder 3 times a day. Thomas is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He is up for adoption to the right home that can provide him with the care and love he deserves.<br/>12/8/25 2:15 PM

Kim's Nurturing Nest Animal Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

We have adoption events at Pet food express monthly. People can meet the animals and if interested they can fill out an adoption form, pay an adoption fee and gather all supplies suitable to care for the animal. Also, if an inquiry comes in via email and those are evaluated. If suitable, they are invited to come meet the animal. If there seems like a good match an adoption form is filled out and adoption fee paid. Education is given on appropiate housing, food and mental stimulation required for that particular animal.
