Thistle is a spirited 9-month-old kitten bursting with spunkiness and a love for playtime, scritches, tasty treats, and toy mice. She is as sweet as she is stunning, with her beautiful dilute tortoiseshell coat and forward-tilting ears that have her rescuers wondering if she may be part Scottish Fold. <br/><br/>Rescued at 6 months old, Thistle has embarked on an incredible journey of building trust and companionship with humans. In a short time she has mastered endearing actions like the flop, drop, and roll, and elevator butt. She eagerly seeks pets and cuddles from her people and has turned into quite the affectionate little friend. <br/><br/>While she is destined to become a cherished lap companion, Thistle is currently a ‘besides you’ cat. She loves to be pet but presently seeks gentle reassurance as she warms up to the idea of climbing onto laps. With patience and love, we know she is poised to one day be a delightful lap kitty, brimming with affection and playfulness. <br/><br/>Thistle loves the four other cats in her current foster home and will need to be adopted into a home that already has a young, friendly cat residing in it.
