Her baby, Marcus, was stuck in the birth canal and she needed an emergency C-section.<br/>We started calling her Mother Theresa because she became such an incredible mom. Not only did she care for her own babies, but she also helped nurse and care for orphaned kittens that needed her. She truly lived up to the name.<br/><br/>She was adopted a year ago into what we thought would be her forever home, but life took an unexpected turn for her adopter when she lost her job and then her home and is when we took Theresa Cookie back into our rescue. <br/><br/><br/>PERSONALITY:<br/>WATCH THE video of her on YouTube. She is just a very social cat who is also a talker. She will be the first to greet you when you walk in the room. She loves to be with her human and is more needy. She even likes to be under the blankets at times. She can be held easily, loves to be brushed, and likes kisses. <br/>She does like to roll around when she is in her playful stage, but she does not like her adorable fluffy belly to be pet. She can nibble for sure. So she ca bite it nibble from time to time. <br/>She seems to be good around my cat but was previously use to be the only pet in the home. She has met my dog but they just avoid each other.<br/>***Theresa Cookie does come with supplies -like her wet food (fancy feast cans), toys, and other items! They are designed to get the bulk of the water needs from their food like a wild cat.<br/>Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box ovoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes..<br/>****How much?**** At least one (3oz. can a day but 2 cans recommended) or 1/2 of a 5oz. Can of Friskies pate wet food a day (although one full can, half in morning and other half at night, is recommended ).<br/>We highly encourage 5.5-6oz a day of wet cat food.
