Theodore (Theo)

He was named after Teddy Roosevelt--stocky, imposing, and possessing an interesting, high-pitched voice. But Theo is a mellow fellow, despite his size and his apparent resemblance to Roosevelt. He often meows to get attention and enjoys sitting in his foster mom's lap.<br/><br/>He lived outdoors until he found the front porch of a kind person who rescued him. Theodore easily learned the comforts of indoor living, and he uses his scratching posts and litter box faithfully, sleeps on the bed at night with his foster mom, and is overall a very affectionate companion.<br/><br/>We have not had a chance to observe his behavior around other pets yet, although he seems to adapt well to new situations. He seems content now to be in a safe home with good food, affection, and a warm lap to sit in!<br/><br/>We think he will make a swell companion for a single person or a family.
