Theo - the Gentle Adventurer's Story

Meet Theo — the Gentle Adventurer with a Heart of Gold ?

Theo is a stunning 11-month-old brown tabby with a gentle spirit and quiet charm that melts hearts. Rescued near the Ogden Recycling Bins in Wilmington, this handsome boy has blossomed into a sweet and affectionate companion who loves both playtime and attention time.

While Theo enjoys the comfort and safety of indoor life, he’s also an adventurous soul who appreciates the freedom of a pet door to explore outside during the day. He’s always safely inside at night, where he can rest and recharge from his little outdoor adventures.

Theo is currently a lanky, tall boy with big back paws that hint he’ll grow into a large, striking cat. Despite his size in the making, his personality is all softness and calm. He’s incredibly loving and would thrive in a home where he receives plenty of attention and companionship.

Theo gets along wonderfully with other cats and, thanks to his easygoing nature, would likely adjust well to a friendly dog.

If you’re looking for a handsome, affectionate, and gently adventurous companion, Theo is the perfect mix of cozy lap cat and curious explorer. ?

All cats and kittens are vaccinated with FVRCP and Rabies if old and large enough for their vaccinations. All cats are neuter or spayed before final adoption date. All cats are also microchipped!

Our adoption process:
1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.

** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **

We are a completely foster based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
