Thelma & Bandit (Bonded Pair)'s Story

Meet Thelma & Bandit!

These two sweet babies have officially become our longest resident kittens, and we’re really hoping their families are out there somewhere!

Bandit and Thelma have been with us since early June. They were trapped, along with their two other siblings and mom, at a large apartment complex where we’ve been working our TNR program since February. So far, we’ve taken in 16 kittens from this colony. Their two siblings have already been adopted and are living their best lives, and now Bandit and Thelma are wondering...when will it be their turn?

At roughly 5 months old they still have plenty of kitten energy, but they’ve also learned all about household life! They’re litter box pros, have great manners, and are doing wonderfully in their foster home with other cats and little humans.

They are:
Spayed/neutered
Microchipped
Fully vaccinated
Dewormed
FIV/FeLV negative
On monthly flea prevention
Healthy with a clean bill of health

These two are on the shy side, so they’ll need a little time to decompress—probably a week or so—in a new home. But once they feel safe and settled, their sweet personalities really start to shine.

THELMA
Thelma is a sweet, cuddly girl who will walk right up to her foster mom asking for attention and snuggles. She isn’t a fan of being picked up, but don’t worry—she’ll do the work of getting herself into your lap! She loves carrying around her crinkle toys and absolutely goes to town on her catnip kick sticks.

BANDIT
Bandit is a playful, laid-back guy who LOVES wrestling and playing with his kitty friends. He’s calm and easygoing but definitely enjoys his snuggles, too. His favorite pastime? Chasing spring toys all over the house!

We would LOVE to see Bandit and Thelma adopted together, but we understand that isn’t always possible. They can be separated as long as their new home has another friendly kitty for companionship.

They would likely adjust quickest to a calmer home with older children, although they’re also doing wonderfully as they get used to younger kids in their foster home.

These babies have waited long enough. Their siblings got their happy endings... now it’s Bandit and Thelma’s turn.

Could you be the family they’ve been waiting for?

NOTE: We do not respond to PetFinder inquiries, you must submit an application. All adopters MUST fill out an application. We do not respond to inquiries submitted through PetFinder. If you have questions about a specific animal feel free to email us, or send us a message on Facebook. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. If you are approved to adopt a member of our team will contact you. Meet and greets are set up by appointment only after you’ve been approved. In most cases you are allowed to take your new pet home after your meet and greet, unless the animal is too young to be spayed/neutered, in which case you will sign up to foster-to-adopt. We do not hold animals so please do not apply or set up a meet and greet unless you are ready to leave with your new pet. Any vetting done at your own vet clinic will be at your own expense. Spay/neuter included in adoption fee must be done by one of our local partner vet clinics, and adopter is responsible for arranging transportation. All animals adopted through TBDF are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and parasite free and up to date on their preventions. All cats and kittens are FiV/FeLV tested, all dogs over 6 months of age are heartworm tested and treated if positive.
