Thelma and Louise (bonded sisters)'s Story

Meet Thelma and Louise — two petite black and white mature ladies with a story we are still learning. Sadly, we don’t know much about their past. When they first came to us, it was clear they had been through a difficult time. They had some hair loss and needed a little extra care, so we made sure they were seen by our veterinary team right away.

The good news is that we’re already seeing progress. From what we’re learning, their hair loss appears to have been caused by stress in their previous home, and with proper care and a calm environment they are beginning to feel safe again.

As you can see, Thelma is quite the affectionate girl who enjoys attention and being close to her people. Louise, on the other hand, takes a little longer to warm up, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality begins to shine through.

These two have clearly relied on each other through a lot, and we would love to see them continue their journey together in a patient, loving home where they can finally relax and just be cats again.

If you think you might be the one to give Thelma and Louise the quiet, caring home they deserve, please reach out to learn more about meeting them. 🖤🤍

For more information and instructions on how to apply, please visit https://thepetrefuge.org/adopt/ Completing an adoption application is always the first step.
