Thea's Story

Thea is FeLV+. She also survived FIP and is now in excellent health. She's 10 months old and is looking for a permanent home. Because of her FeLV+ status, she can only go to a home where she is the only cat (unless you have a FeLV+ cat). Or she can go to a home with a friendly dog (she lives with a dog now and they play and cuddle all the time!)

Feline Leukemia (FeLV) often means a cat will only live a few years. But with newer testing we know Thea's infection is considered "regressive" which means the virus may not ever affect her and she'll live a full life. In any case, Thea is making her time here count! She's full of playful and sassy energy and will bring a lot of joy and fun to your life. Read below for some testimonials from her foster family and tell us if you want to bring her home!

"She loves to cuddle and sleep with you. She wakes up and greets you with the cutest purrs. Loves to cuddle while you do your homework but will bite your papers. She loves to jump on your lap and take a nap."

"She is very energetic and likes to play and be chased around."

"Having Thea is like having another toddler in the house. She wakes up at 5am to play, puts everything in her mouth, constantly terrorizing the dog and is very picky with her food. But she's happy with chicken pate everyday."

"She absolutely HATES closed doors! We are not allowed to close any doors no matter which side of the door she's on."

"She's such a curious kitten and she watches everything you do so intensively. Like she's trying to learn how to do it so next time she can do it on her own."
