Thea's Story

We've been talking a lot about kittens here, but what about the mamas who nurture them? Our sweet Thea here did just that; she had a litter of kittens, took the best care of them, we got them all adopted, and now Thea is ready to relax! (Same, mama; same.) Our tiger and white girl is a little over a year old and is a little over seven pounds. She has done her duty as a mama, and is now looking for a quiet home where she can spend the rest of her life in peace. Thea has also: -Tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV; -Received her vaccinations; -Been neutered; -Been treated for fleas and worms; and -Had a negative fecal test. The balance of her vaccinations is included in our adoption plan. All are age-appropriate services. In Greek, "Thea" mans "goddess". Doesn't this divine girl deserve a home of her own? The Cat House - Feline Sanctuary Inc.'s Adoption Policy

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated for feline leukemia, distemper, and rabies as well as tested for feline aids (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV), wormed and given monthly flea treatment. They are also treated for any illnesses while in our care. The cat sanctuary is a free roaming no kill facility where we learn each cats personality and also how they deal with other animals. We do require some information from folks looking to adopt our cats/kittens.
