The Duke's Story

The Duke is a gentle boy. Once you earn his trust he will rub up against your leg and demand pets. He likes to sit in cat trees and stare out at his domain. While he does not like being picked up he is still a sweet boy who will seek you out just to be near you.<br/>If you crack open a can of wet food he will come running. He’s also been known to make biscuits if the right furry blanket is presented. <br/><br/>He has gone through a fantastic weight loss journey and is now a healthy weight for his age.

We ask that an application be submitted, then we set up a time to meet and greet. From there we decide to move forward with the adoption and set up a pick up day.

East Rochester Meowscue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and stray cats in East Rochester NY and surrounding areas. Our goal is to provide a safe haven for these animals while promoting responsible pet ownership and reducing the stray cat population through education and spay/neuter programs.
