Thames's Story

Meet Thames

Color: Black & white tuxedo
Personality: Thoughtful, cautious, quietly observant

Thames is a handsome tuxedo boy who has come a long way alongside his brother, Zambezi ("Zammy"). Once very feral, both boys are slowly learning to trust humans through patience, routine, and gentle care. Thames is the more reserved of the two and prefers to observe first before deciding that a situation-or a person-is safe.

Thames is a great roommate-not destructive (aside from a fondness for paper), respectful of his space, and surprisingly vocal when food or treats are nearby. He continues to make steady progress and will benefit from a calm, predictable environment where he can build confidence at his own pace.

Thames shares a strong brotherly bond with Zammy and often looks to him for reassurance. Although they are not being adopted as a bonded pair, Thames would truly thrive if he were able to remain in the same home as his brother, as their dynamic provides him added comfort and confidence.

Thames will do best in a quiet, understanding home where small milestones are celebrated and trust is allowed to grow naturally over time.

-----------------------------------------

If you're interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
