Tessa's Story

Tessa was found in Devils Lake on a cold night. She loves playing with the laser light and is getting more affectionate each day. She likes a certain dog that walks by the rescue regularly and goes up in the windowsill to greet him. Tessa is FIV positive, so she has a compromised immune system and will require more vet care than other kitties. For example, FIV positive cats should have two exams per year rather than one to stay on top of any health issues arising. If she gets sick, she needs to see the vet right away because she cannot fight it off like other kitties.
