We need your help finding a home for this little doll, Tennille. She has been waiting over a year to find her forever family!

Tennille came into our rescue program with her littermates when they were just kittens. All of her siblings have been adopted except her. She is now 1 1/2 years old. Tennille was diagnosed with a grade 4 heart murmur when she arrived at NAWS, making her quest to find a forever home much harder. She needs a special adopter (you know who you are) that sees her value and wants to spoil her rotten. Tennille is looking for someone who recognizes that special need kitties deserve love too, perhaps even a bit more!

Tennille’s foster stated that she is a sweet, gentle and loving cat. She can be timid at our adoption events, but is never mean or aggressive. In her foster home, her personality shows and she is very playful. Her favorite toys are strings, feathers and plastic balls (she loves to chase them). Give her a little time to adjust to a new environment, and she is an affectionate and fun young cat.

It is recommended that Tennille be evaluated by a full-service vet to investigate the cause of her murmur and to determine if a specific plan of care is needed. Sadly, this seems to be the reason that she has been overlooked again and again. Finding an adopter that will be dedicated to her care is difficult, but we refuse to stop trying. She needs a hero.

Want to help care for her while she waits to find her forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as her food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives!

All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines.

A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat. Please complete and submit the application electronically on our website at http://www.nawsus.org.
