Teeny's Story
Teeny is an adorable, 3-year old white and brown tabby with a big personality and a lot of love to give.

Teeny was found outside living with several other cats in an empty lot in BedStuy, Brooklyn. He was initially cautious around people but slowly began to interact with his feeders. Teeny was always covered in scrapes but showed a friendly enough disposition to people. One evening, he arrived for dinner with a fresh facial wound, so his feeders could tell he needed help. Once he was trapped and brought indoors, Teeny slowly began to come out of his shell and showed how happy he was to be cared for. With some time, patience and lots of love, Teeny will become his new family’s best friend.

Teeny loves following his fosters around and meowing for attention—whether it’s for a snack, some pets or just to remind his fosters that he exists. He loves to cuddle, too—he'll lay against you on the couch for movie nights, curl up in bed for easy petting access, and will walk backwards to show that he wants his back scratched. On several occasions, Teeny has even enjoyed being held while taking a snooze!

Teeny’s fosters say he is playful, curious and always looking for the comfiest spot for a nap. While he loves lounging on the couch (especially with his fosters beside him), he also loves to play and explore. One of his favorite activities is bird watching, either from the window or a screen.

Teeny will thrive in a home that devotes time to playing with him, throwing toys like mice and bouncy balls, and setting up puzzle feeders for him to solve. He's very food motivated and his fosters have even helped him get comfortable getting in and out of carrier.

Teeny would thrive as a solo cat in your home. However, he does well living with other cats (he currently has feline foster siblings!) so long as slow and proper introductions are done to allow for acclimation. After slow, gradual introductions, Teeny now enjoys hanging out on beds and chatting with the other cats in his foster home. He also loves playing and treat time with other cats, too.

Teeny has been fully vetted with a clean bill of health. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, treated for fleas/parasites, and is FIV/FeLV negative.

------
If you'd like to learn more about Teeny and set up a meet-and-greet, please fill out our application: https://forms.gle/KTz96Yh6Hpft4HzS6
