Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

First we spay/neuter our animals. We have potential adopters fill out a questionnaire in which they describe the living situation they will be providing. The animals we adopt out must have sufficient space or we won't let them go. We interview the adopting people to determine whether they know how to take care of the animal at issue, and ask for a promise from the adopter that they will not use the animal for food or abuse the animal. If the adoption does not work out, we ask the adopter to return the animal to us.

Our Mission

Herd and Flock's mission is to provide high-quality permanent housing for rescued farm animals. When our sanctuary is full with permanent residents, we provide temporary housing for rescued farm animals and seek permanent homes for them. We also seek to promote plant-based diet and lifestyle.
