Important Adoption Information:

Our Adoption Application can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf0z-IHW5dNL_HMvH_qDIdEziwiGdiLOz0fbx0GdLn8rHCHVw/viewform?usp=sf_link

Please Note: We are a small, all-volunteer foster-based organization with no facility, so are unable to arrange meet and greets prior to adoption. Details about our adoption process and our adoption policies can be found on our website - www.FelineAdvocatesComingTogether.org

Teddy has been with us since October of 2023! Prior to that, he was living outside, though we think he may have had a home at some point. Sadly, no one has wanted to adopt him yet. We know cats who take time to trust people take a very long time to get adopted, but we think he's waited long enough. He has made a lot of progress in his foster home, and with the right person, he will continue to learn what love and safety is. He has shown us how sweet he can be when he feels safe.

He will occasionally swat out of fear, but he allows petting and really enjoys Churu treats! He never wants to cause any harm, just send a message if he's feeling scared.

He is very food-motivated and LOVES Squeeze-Ups/Churu (as you can see from his photos)!

Teddy needs a home with someone who has experience with cats, and can be patient and understanding with him. He has clearly been through a lot, and just needs to feel safe. We can see the progress he has made in the time we've had him. He just needs someone who will accept him for who he is and show him that he won't be abandoned again.

He would be fine as an only cat or in a home with a mellow, female cat (or two). He can be a bit dominant, so we don't recommend a home with male cats. He may be okay with a mellow dog who is experienced with cats. He is around 3-4 years old, neutered, and FeLV/FIV negative.

Teddy is a good boy. He just needs to know he's safe and loved.
