Teddy's Story

Teddy
Adoption fee $225.00
Est DOB 4/23

Teddy is a stunning house panther with a beautiful, sleek, shiny black coat. Found roaming a neighborhood, unneutered and searching for someone to open their door—and their heart—Teddy was clearly ready to leave the street life behind.

It’s really shocking how many cats have been left behind or allowed to roam and live outdoors fully intact to reproduce. It’s heartbreaking and unacceptable and hard for us to wrap our heads around but it’s happening more and more each day.

Now safely indoors, Teddy is thriving and showing just how sweet and affectionate he truly is. He enjoys batting around his toys, lounging on the cat tree to watch the world go by, and curling up next to his foster family for a cozy nap. He absolutely lives for wet food and starts purring the moment he hears the can pop open!

Teddy also has a soft, kittenish side—he loves to make biscuits and suckle on his blanket, which is just about the cutest thing you’ll ever see.

Teddy is calm and easygoing around other cats. He’s been completely nonreactive to his foster siblings—no growling, no drama—he just minds his business and coexists peacefully. Can’t say the same for the resident cats!

If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion who’s ready to be someone’s loyal best friend, Teddy may be your perfect match. He’s the kind of cat who just wants to be near you, feel safe, and have a loving family.
The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
