Ted's Story

Ted is a handsome, lovable 6-year-old cat with a calm, easygoing personality and a big heart for his people. He loves being close by and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Ted is the kind of cat who makes everyday life feel a little sweeterhell greet you at the door, settle in nearby while you get ready, and patiently wait for you to come home. One of his favorite things is fresh water from the bathroom sink, and he also absolutely loves being brushed and pampered.

Ted is not a fan of other animals, so his perfect home would have no other pets,

He was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The great news is that both conditions are being successfully managed with once a day medication and routine veterinary care. He takes his meds well and is thriving in foster care. These conditions do not slow him downTed continues to enjoy a normal, happy life full of affection, companionship, and quiet playful moments. His adopter should simply be comfortable continuing his medications and regular vet checkups so he can keep doing so well.

Like many cats, Ted may take a little time to fully settle into a new home, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes a deeply affectionate and loyal companion. He enjoys cozy evenings by your side, gentle attention, and simply being part of your daily routine.
