Teagan's Story

Sweet little Teagan cannot wait to land in a home where she will have furever fun and cuddles! This darling kitten was found all alone in the peak heat of summer. Poor Teagan was covered in burrs and scared of the noisy city streets. Once she landed in our volunteer’s arms she melted into a cascade of joyful purrs. After a bath and a trip to the vet to get all her shots, spay and a hernia fixed, she blossomed into a pretty glossy coated little friend! She loves to play and loves to cuddle more. She would love to be your very best friend. To meet her, please fill out our application, once you are approved a time to meet her in her foster home can be arranged:

https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoptable-pets

Familiar Hearts Animal Society's Adoption Policy
We always have potential adopters fill out our adoption application first so we can first vet them and make sure we approve of them as adopters before then inviting them to meet the animal(s) they are interested in. We feel this not only saves time for our fosters, it helps us get to know the applicant better and better be able to match them with the potential pet that is best for them. We always make sure everyone has a lot of time to deeply consider the adoption before finalizing it. The adoption is considered finalized after the adoption contract is reviewed and signed and the fee is paid. We then tranfer all the vet records and microchip information to the new family. We also offer behavioral support before and after adoption and one free training session with our dog trainer for dog adopters.
