TC's Story
Meet TC 💫
female spayed
domestic short hair
brown Tiger and white
Est. DOB: 9/14/23

TC is a delightful, approximately 2-year-old, spayed female Domestic Shorthair with adorable brown tabby markings and white. She was transferred to our rescue from another organization and is now looking for a special forever home where she can continue to shine.

TC is the definition of fun and personality. She’s silly, playful, and a little mischievous, always finding ways to entertain herself and the people around her. She’s also super attentive and chatty—TC loves to be involved in whatever you’re doing and will happily talk back when spoken to. Playtime is her favorite, and she may show her excitement with the occasional play bite, so she’ll do best with someone who understands playful cat behavior and can read her cues.
TC enjoys the company of other cats, but because she is FeLV positive, she must live only with other FeLV-positive cats or as an only cat.

About FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus):
FeLV is a virus that affects only cats and is spread through close contact such as mutual grooming or sharing food and water bowls. It is not contagious to humans or other animals. Many FeLV-positive cats live happy, fulfilling lives for years, especially in indoor, low-stress environments with regular veterinary care. FeLV-positive cats should not live with FeLV-negative cats unless strict separation is maintained.

TC is full of life, love, and curiosity, and her diagnosis does not define her—it simply means she needs the right home. If you’re looking for an engaging, playful, talkative companion and can provide a FeLV-appropriate home, TC may be the perfect match for you. 🧡

Tc loves wet and dry food, she is food motivated. She does well with other cats and calm dogs. Children with good bounderies would be best.

Pawsitive Cause in a non-profit, no-kill, foster based animal rescue located in Holly, MI. Our animals are placed with fosters, where they are treated like part of the family until they find their furever homes.

Our adoption process requires an application to be completed, which you can find on our Facebook page, and then a "meet and greet" is to take place. Our animals are adopted out to the first perfect fit. Adoption fees are necessary to help cover medical costs for our rescue animals.

TC has had all age appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed with a general dewormer, has been spayed, microchipped, and received monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

We do recommend rechecking a fecal within 48 hours after you take any cat home, covered by us. If she is positive for any parasites, we will get you a dewormer recommended by your vet at no extra cost.

Adoption fee is $125. We take check, card, and cash.

You will receive a copy of the microchip form when you bring her home, and we will register it for you! In the first week, we would like to check the account to make sure we did not make any errors. After that, it will be your responsibility to keep the information accurate and up to date. This is a lifelong enrollment, and you will not have to pay towards it again. The microchip sits under the skin, between the shoulder blades. Your username will be your email address, so you will be required to have one. Once you logon to petlink.net, you can change the password to whatever you would like.

You will also receive a copy of your adoption contract, signed by you and a Pawsitive Cause board member. This contract will go over that our cats are seen by a veterinarian, have received vet care, and had their hearts listened to, but we cannot guarantee the health of any animal.

You will also receive a hand out about Upper Respiratory Infection in cats, as many animals in rescues and shelters have been previously exposed to this illness. Even if they are not showing signs of URI, the change or stress of going home can bring those symptoms on, which is why we send you home with the hand out.

We will go over a checklist to make sure that we did not miss anything. You will receive a copy of this as well. We have asked our fosters to bring some food for you to take home to transition on to what you would like them to eat. We have always offered both wet and dry food.

TC is using litter boxes great. However, we recommend starting her out in a room with a litter box, and open more and more of the house at a time. Do not move the litter box a lot! This also helps with introductions to other animals. You should always do slow introductions under a door with a few days of no sight. Once all of the animals are calm and used to the new noises and smells, you can start offering treats at the door to both animals, then open the door and start letting them slowly mingle.

Lastly, you will receive a paper copy or email copy of all medical records we have on file. We would love it if you continued your vet care with us at Pawsitive Care, but we understand if you have a vet you love! We will try to make this transition as easy as possible.

If you think TC would complete your family, please email us at PawsitiveCauseMI@gmail.com

Pawsitive Cause Non-Profit Animal Rescue
611 N Saginaw St
Holly, MI 48442
PawsitiveCauseMI@gmail.com
Fax: (248) 587-7622

Pawsitive Cause in a non-profit, no-kill, foster based animal rescue located in Holly, MI.
