Tatum's Story
CALICO- Cream coat with dark brown/black and touches of muted orange accents. Light green eyes.
ADULT FEMALE; Est DOB: 2018
ARRIVAL: 7/5/2020
HISTORY: Tatum was trapped in a local colony of cats.

Since her arrival, Tatum has made many friends both human and feline! She typically hangs out with fellow L2 residents Kit and Bandit and enjoys visits from staff and volunteers. Tatum is still a bit more of a low-energy cat and prefers to spend most of her time napping. If you want to pet her while she relaxes, even better! She will purr the whole time. Tatum doesn’t really like to be picked up but other than that she enjoys human interaction and contact. Tatum is a sweet, laid-back cat who will likely take some time to come out of her shell once introduced to her forever home. We promise you that she’s worth the wait!

Fall Update 2025: In the event you were wondering, I’m still NOT the life of the party. I’m still that quiet, meek, flying under the radar gal who softly and gingerly goes about her daily business. I’m very much a creature of habit and to that end, I’m still hanging out and for lack of better words literally sharing a house with a group of gals. On the patio, we have a very large house- I’m thinking it may have been someone’s doll house and you’ll often find me relaxing inside with gal pals Sadie, Tatum and Julia. Big boy Bandit might also join in and he too is welcome. None of us are very active and sleep is our middle name. During the summer, I was spotted stretched out on the cement patio floor- seems like I could get enough of that warm sun on my shoulders. Folks tell me I’m healthy …and I am …and I want for nothing. Tatum

Winter Update 2025: I live in a big house. It's a 2 level and each day, I have some of my fave friends coming over to visit with me. They might include Sadie and or Whiskers and or Julia. Truth be told though, Sadie is really the landlord and controls who comes and goes, when and where! LOL. That's cool with me because I know she likes me a lot and I keep a very clean house. I'm still not very interested in the humans and in general I don't really have any best friends in my room, but if I did, it would be Sadie. One of my regular human suitors is Volunteer Scott who claims he's not seen my legs in over a year as I'm always in rest/recline mode. LOL. He gives me some soft pets of appreciation which I could give or take. Still deep down, I'm grateful he "sees" me and respects me. I'm in good health and with a nice house to relax in this winter, I think I'm pretty set. TATUM.

Fall 2024 Update: I am a "champion sleeper" according to my regular human volunteer and friend Scott. He will tell the other humans that my routine might look like...eat...litter box...sleep....repeat! You see, he perhaps has never, ever seen me out and about and walking around as I'm typically in some snuggly nook or cranny curled up in a ball napping! Even while in nap more, Scott is not hesitant about coming over to give me a few kind strokes to acknowledge me and let me know he cares about me. For this I am grateful. TATUM
