Tao's Story
Tao is a charming 3-year-old Siamese mix who’s ready to be the star of someone’s home. After two years of trying to coexist with the resident cat, he made it clear he’s not into sharing his kingdom—he wants to be the one and only feline royalty! When he has another cat around, he gets a bit too protective of his space, but in a cat-free home, Tao can truly shine and show off his sweet, quirky personality. He’s the perfect match for someone looking for a lovable, independent companion who’s happiest as the solo cat of the castle.

Dogs, however, are a completely different story. Tao adores them! He initiated play with the resident dog in his former home and even claimed a few dog toys as his own—he genuinely seems to think he’s part dog. If you have a friendly, cat-loving pup, Tao just might be their new best friend.

Tao is sweet, affectionate in his own ways, and will greet you with soft meows and leg rubs when he’s comfortable. He doesn’t like being held (very on-brand for most cats), and he needs a little time and patience to warm up to pets and new people.

Independent yet playful, snuggly on his terms, and wonderfully quirky, Tao is ready to be someone’s one-and-only and finally relax into the peaceful life he deserves. He will arrive neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, ready to start fresh in a home that understands his unique charm.
