Tankichi R - BEAUTIFUL CHILD-FRIENDLY TUXEDO!'s Story
TANKICHI'S STORY FROM HER CURRENT FAMILY:

Tankichi was rescued in late 2018 by a good foster veterinarian. She was spayed, vaccinated, and sent home with us in January 2019 where she has been a wonderful family pet for four happy years.

She loves tummy rubs and purring on your lap in the afternoon. Every evening, Tankichi waits by my bed for me to lie down so she can climb up on me and get her nightly "tummy time" as I call it. She "makes muffins" on my tummy, and then sprawls out across me while receiving her nightly tummy rub, as per her royal prerogative. It is an absolutely fuzzy and sweet ritual and it is what I will miss most about her.

We originally adopted her to keep the mice away where we were living. Now that mice are no longer a concern and we've adopted the dog we always wanted, poor Tankichi is very unhappy with the dog and has to be kept in the bathroom for much of the day to avoid fighting and stress. We feel she will be much happier in a household with "cat" people.

Age: 4 years
Sex: Female
Spayed
Has all claws
Medium coat, minimal shedding
Color: Black and White (tuxedo markings)
Needs a new home because she shows aggression toward our dog.
Food: dry food, Purina ONE +Plus Indoor Advantage, one cup per day
Uses covered litter box, has no accidents outside litter box, we use flushable wood-based litter
Uses scratching post
No Medications
No medical conditions
Last visited vet on 7/16/2020 for rabies certificate

EMAIL 4/18/23
