Tampa Bae's Story

Retire in style with your new best friend, Tampa Bae! Tampa's personality is all sunshine and beach vibes, and while she tends to be a little shy around new people and places, that quickly falls to the wayside and her more cuddly demeanor takes over -- she also isn't afraid to use her adorably squeaky voice to start issues commands for her ongoing comfort, so even if you don't understand what she's saying just pretend you do and offer her some attention. And don't let that age number fool you, this girl still likes to play and keep active, with catnip toys being her go-to outlet!

Tampa Bae has some old lady aches and pains from arthritis (don't we all, though?!) and has that easily managed with daily medication and once-a-month injection that keeps her in tip-top shape for jumping onto the couch to sit on your lap. Tampa also has early-stage kidney disease, common in senior kitties, but currently doesn't require any special care via diet or medication. She should just be seen by your vet at least a few times a year for repeat bloodwork to check those levels.

Tampa Bae would prefer a home with adults-only or older children who can keep her golden years a bit calmer and relaxing.

------------------------------------

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email adoptions@phillypaws.org to learn more about them!

In order to meet any cats in foster care, you will need to have an approved application first.
