Tammy's Story

Tammy
CMCR #4156
Female

Calico Tabby DSH Mix

Approximate DOB 9/23/2021

Tammy is a gorgeous adult calico girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She can be quite apprehensive of new people and unfamiliar surroundings at first, but once she feels safe, you’ll see just how special she is.

Tammy absolutely loves attention and has no problem asking for it! She’ll meow (loudly) for her people, run right up to them, and even jump up for chin scratches. At bedtime, she loves sleeping with her person, resting her head on their arm or hand so she can settle in peacefully. She also adores snuggling under the blankets, whether you’re there with her or not. And her purr is so strong that you can hear it across the room.

Tammy enjoys playtime too, especially chasing toys that are tossed for her. She also has a bit of sass and definitely knows what she wants—and she wants attention!

Because Tammy thrives on human interaction, someone who is home often would be ideal. She would do best as the only pet, as she does not enjoy the company of other cats, and she would likely prefer a home without dogs or children as well.

Because of Tammy’s past, she has a harder time trusting and settling into new situations, so she’ll need someone willing to give her the time and patience she deserves. But once she feels safe, the love she gives is truly special, and she’ll reward that patience with an incredibly devoted and affectionate companion.

$130 adoption fee

Medical services already completed include;
*vet exam
*spay/neuter
*microchip
*current FVRCP vaccine (and booster if applicable timeframe)
*Rabies vaccine (if old enough).
*FIV/FeLV (if a litter, one cat per litter will be tested)

Cat's Meow Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit, foster-home based rescue.
