TAMMY's Story

MEET TAMMY! I am looking for: -A quiet home with no young children -A home with another cat is required/recommended Tammy is working on her relationship with people. Her transition to the shelter hasn't been the easiest so right now she is quite fearful. Tammy is looking for a quiet household with owners dedicated to helping her come out of her shell. If you have lots of patience to give a sweet, shy girl come in to our Boston shelter to meet Tammy! Tammy is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Melvin or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
