Taloo

Taloo is a handsome 2.5 year old brown tabby who was rescued from the great outdoors as an older kitten. He had a noticeable limp, so after x-rays and an orthopedic consult he had FHO surgery to repair a hip fracture. It was a rough start, but he healed up nicely with no lingering issues. He should not need further treatment, and he has no problem racing around with his friends. Taloo has also overcome a struggle with a skin irritation which took some time to fully resolve. He is now maintained on a daily med to give him his perfect, lush coat with no further skin issues. Meanwhile he has grown into a delightful, happy, goofy boy. It's been a long wait for that forever home, but Taloo is patient and he is finally ready for adoption. While he waits, he spends his days relaxing on the cat tree, playing laser tag, and enjoying lap time on the sofa. Taloo is affectionate and loves lap time, where he can best share his affectionate personality. He would love kitty friends as he blends well with all their personalities. A dog might be fine with an adjustment time depending on the dog and energy levels. This includes spay/neuter, microchipping, combo testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick/ear mite treatment and any medical care necessary prior to adoption. We require all applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
