Tallulah's Story

Tallulah's name means "princess of abundance," and she certainly has an abundance of love and affection to share with the family who adopts her. This petite little princess is a huge, huge cuddler and lap cat (or chest cat -- really, the more body contact for Tallulah, the better!) She gives the most excellent head butts. She is also very playful and jumps so high after wand toys! Tallulah gets along well with other cats and also was friends with the large resident dog in her foster home. Tallulah must go to a home where she'll have the companionship of another young and friendly cat.

Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

We are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based private rescue. All of our cats have been fostered in private homes and will never go up for adoption straight off the street. We know their personalities and preferences, likes and dislikes, and any special needs they may have. This information helps us to ensure that each cat is matched with the perfect family during the adoption process. While our adoption process is more intricate than that of some other organizations, our goal is to make sure our cats are placed in the best possible lifelong homes. Some of our cats live in an adoption center at the Dover, Del. PetSmart, while others are in foster homes. We can set up meetings with individual cats following approval of an adoption application. Our adoption application and full list of adoption policies can be found here: https://www.purrfecthavencatrescue.org/adoption-form Our standard cat adoption fee is $90 for adult cats and $115 for kittens under the age of one year. For purebred and purebred/purebred-cross cats our fees range from $125-$200.
