Taki

Meet Taki, named after the spicy corn roll chips for a reason! This girl is all attitude in a little package. We're not sure how Taki ended up in downtown Conway, but she found herself alone and outside last winter. At some point she befriended Shadow while they were out on their own, so they are a bonded pair. <br/>Taki has been with us since April and with baby steps, she's learning to trust humans. She allows the consistent volunteers to pet her now, she loves her treats and will take them from your hand, she comes out from hiding when you call her and if she knows you she won't run and hide anymore. Though she is still nervous with people she doesn't know, she is learning so an interested adopter has to understand that she will most likely hide for awhile in a new environment with new people, sounds, and smells. She does follow Shadow's lead, so as long as he is by her side she is more confident. <br/>Taki is spayed, UTD on her shots, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped. <br/>We'd like her and Shadow to go to a home together because they are bonded and we feel she'd adapt faster with him around. We're hoping there's a sweet soul out there who knows cats and understands where Taki is coming from, who can open their hearts to 2 new cats and let them live their life together in a quiet home. <br/>Our adoption process for all of our adoptable animals requires an application to be filled out, as well as a background check and home visit completed before approval.
