Taco's Story
Taco, an 11-week-old kitten, came to us with his sister as very sick little kittens. While his sister has since been adopted, Taco stayed behind to heal and grow stronger.

Taco can be shy at first, but he is incredibly sweet and gentle. He’s still learning the nuances of affection — how to receive it, how to give it back — and he does so with soft purrs and quiet trust. Once he feels safe, he leans in, enjoying being held and spending time with his people.

Taco does have a visible eye scar from an earlier ulcer. Our veterinarian has cleared the eye medically, and it does not affect his quality of life. It simply gives him a slightly rough-and-tumble appearance. As with any kitten, we recommend routine follow-up care with your own veterinarian.

Most importantly, Taco is healthy, thriving, and ready for a home where he can continue learning what it means to be loved.

Taco is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his age-appropriate FVRCP vaccinations. He has been dewormed, is on flea and tick prevention, and has completed his FIV/FeLV testing.

Apply to adopt at: https://orangecountyva.gov/159/Pet-Adoption-Foster-Care-Information
