While she can be played with during any of our open hours, an adoption can only be finalized Tuesday-Friday from 1 to 4 PM.**

Meet Taco! Taco is an 8 year old spayed female Domestic Shorthair.
This cutie is here through no fault of her own due to a family member in her previous home developing allergies. They were devastated to give Taco up, but they knew she deserved to go to a place where the whole family could live comfortably together.
You will immediately notice something different about Taco when you meet her - she only has three legs! She was hit by a car up on the interstate, and the leg could not be saved. She is very used to it by now, however, and gets along almost as well as any other cat! For her safety, though, Taco cannot be allowed to roam outdoors and should be kept strictly inside, as she can't run or defend herself as well without all of her legs.
Taco has lived with other animals before and did okay with them, but she definitely would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She came to the shelter with two of her kitty-siblings, and her owner said Taco wasn't a fan of playtime and would much rather they leave her alone. Taco is great with kids, however!
Taco is up to date on all of her vaccinations, and she is microchipped, which can be transferred to her new owner's name after adoption. This poor girl has already faced so much hardship in her life, and she deserves to quickly find a home where she can continue to live in love and peace. So what are you waiting for? If you think Taco could be the cat for you, come out and meet her today!
