Taco's Story
Say hello to Taco!

She came to TCHS with her siblings after being born outside. She is not very well socialized with humans yet but made big progress in her foster home. She would do best in a quieter home to grow comfortable and confident in. Just go slowly!

Taco starts off very shy, but once you give her the time to come to you, she will warm up and lean into more pets. She is a more of a homebody when it comes to her kennel; she might benefit from a dark spot where she can curl up and hide away from the busy world.

Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition.

She should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help her maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe.

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
