Tabitha Brown's Story

Soft socks, gentle eyes, and a heart full of love, one-year-old Tabitha Brown is the kind of cat who steals your heart before you even realize it. This adorable brown tabby girl sports the cutest white knee-high socks and mittens, and she is every bit as sweet as she looks. It was a surprise to everyone when Tabitha was found outside in Northeast DC and no owner could be located, because she is truly one of the most affectionate little ladies you will ever meet. Thanks to some kind humans who stepped in to help, she is now safe and ready to find the home she deserves. Tabitha can be a little shy at first, but it does not take long at all for her personality to shine through as she warms up and shows just how funny she is. She loves batting around wand toys, watching birds from the window like it is her personal nature channel, and keeping an eye on whatever is on TV. When it is time to relax, she is an excellent snuggler and will happily roll over to show off her fluffy white tummy. Tabitha would be perfectly content as a solo kitty since she pays little attention to the other cats in her foster home, but with proper introductions she could likely adjust to a home with other pets too.
