TABBY's Story

MEET Tabby! This good kitty is very sweet but can be a bit fearful at first. We think they would thrive in a quiet adult-only household, with an adopter who is patient, has experience with shy cats, and can give them the sense of calm and security they need to break out of their shell. Tabby could be a good cat companion to another cat. If this kitty sounds like a good fit for you and your home, please stop by to meet them! Tabby is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been neutered/spayed, microchipped, and examined by our vet team. For more information on Tabby or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
