Tabby's Story

This baby's owner had sudden medical issues and had to go into assisted living having to leave her behind. A neighbor did what they could to care for her, and we were able to get her to safety. She is a sweetheart and loves attention and to be brushed!!!! She does have some catitude, but what big girl doesn't?! She is obese (14lb and should be about 10lb) and loves her cat tree on the patio. She does well with other cats and dogs, but would also do great as an only animal. She is a quiet girl who likes her relaxation, but will run to you when you pick up a brush! With a heart as big as her stomach, is this girl meant to be yours?

Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets.

If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application.

Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes:

A combo test
Deworming
Spay/neuter procedures
Vaccinations
Microchipping

We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.

While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Additional adoption details:

Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses.
Home checks may be conducted.
Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168.
For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.

Can't adopt?
