Sylvie's Story

Sylvie - Spayed Female. Approximate DOB is 4/20/2025. Sylvie is current on her vaccines and she has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is NEGATIVE. Sylvie is a SH Brown Tabby.

Sylvie came to Love A Stray when help was requested of us following a house fire that left the property uninhabitable for the family, but Sylvie was left behind in the remaining basement structure in a cement block room where she delivered her 5 kittens in the corner on newspapers and general refuse. LAS brought her and the babies, who were approximately 3 weeks old to the Shelter. She was so thin and needed good nutrition and general care. Sylvie and her kittens improved in a safe, clean environment.

Sylvie was a good and very protective Mom! Her babies were doing well and were very confident and social! Sylvie loves her toys and attention and is a bit protective of her cage space and doesn't like it when we rearrange !!! She possibly would do well with another cat with proper introductions. Unknow if she is good with dogs - although, there were dogs also left on the property. Sylvie would love to have a safe, kind, loving home and to leave Shelter Life!

She will need time to adjust to a new home and family. likely not good with very small children. If youd like to meet Sylvie, or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at www.loveastraycat.com.
