1 year old Temperament: Calm, Friendly, Lapcat, Outgoing, Snuggly, Talkative This Valentine's Day, bring home to world's biggest sweetheart - Sylvia! This certified love bug has the cutest pink nose and toe beans, and of course her signature chin marking! Sylvia is the most loving and affectionate girl. She will meow at you if you've been gone for too long (even if only a couple of hours) to let you know she missed you! She loves her humans, and loves to catch them up on her day. She's a real yapper! This snuggle bug loves to lounge in bed any time of day (such is the life of a stay at home cat), and she loves to cuddle up next to her human for pets. She especially loves her ear and chin scratches! When she's feeling really comfortable she'll roll over and show you her belly for some rubs, or show off her biscuit making skills on a soft blanket. Little miss Sylvia loves to get her zoomies out and enjoys being playful, but she has excellent manners and doesn't scratch! She's an expert at chasing her string toy. Sylvia has shown lots of interest in other cats as well as dogs, and likely would get along well with proper time and introduction. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue's Adoption Policy

All of our dogs and cats are in private foster homes. If you are interested in meeting one, please complete our application. Profiles provide all current information we know about the dogs and cats in our care. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS APPLICATION: Interested adopters should fill out an application for the cat(s) or dog(s) you are interested in. Only one application is required, and it applies for all cats or dogs listed on your application. If you are interested in adopting both a cat and a dog, you must complete an application for each type of animal. Important Note Regarding Timing: We screen all applications to find what we believe will be the best environment for each particular cat or dog. If we believe that we currently have a potential match for you, our typical response time is within a week. Please keep an eye on your spam folder! APPLICATIONS COUNSELOR: Applicants who pass the initial screening will be assigned a volunteer applications counselor to work with you throughout the process. REFERENCE CHECKS: If applicable, CDCK will call the applicant’s veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for. CDCK will also call personal references listed on the application. RENTERS/CONDO OWNERS: For renters, CDCK will check with an applicant's landlord to ensure that cats and/or dogs are permitted and that the cat or dog of interest wouldn’t violate any size or breed restrictions. We also review condo association rules regarding pets. ADOPTION CONTRACT: If the applicant is approved for adoption and decides to adopt the cat or dog, CDCK and the prospective adopter will enter into an adoption contract. The applicant will be required to pay an adoption fee, which helps cover our costs from spay/neutering (if age appropriate), microchipping, vaccinations, and any other veterinary attention needed while in our care.
