If interested in adopting from the Goathouse Refuge, please plan to take the following steps required in our adoption process:<br/>1. Come for a Visit: We are open 11am - 3 PM Saturday and Sunday. Fridays are by appointment. <br/>2. Complete our online application: Visit our website (click link above or go to www.goathouserefuge.org under the 'adopt' tab).<br/>3. Home Visit: All adoption applications will be reviewed by the refuge staff, and if the applicant seems to be a good fit for the cat(s) of interest, the refuge will contact the interested party to set up a home visit. Only after a representative of the refuge conducts a home visit will the refuge then consider continuing with the adoption process.

Goathouse Refuge Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in a Goathouse Refuge cat! We are open to visitors Fridays by appointments, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-3pm EST. Before you submit an adoption application, please make sure you are familiar with our Adoption Process (www.goathouserefuge.org/process/). To expedite the process, please complete all fields on the application. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age; please be aware that we do not adopt to undergraduate college students.

We are a no-kill cat rescue that seeks to find permanent forever homes for adoptable cats & kittens and to provide a permanent refuge to cats that may not be suited for life in a traditional home setting.
