??Hello…I am Sylvester …a special-needs kitty in search of a VERY special, understanding and loving family to give me the forever home I have so been wishing for.??<br/><br/>My rescuer keeps telling me I have a fun and silly/cute personality and that I am very smart. I am the kind of kitty that really likes attention and I am a social boy with the humans I know to trust and like.<br/><br/>I love my furry maine to be brushed. I adore being held like a baby… it makes me wanna purr. I just love attention and will come to you when you call me.<br/><br/>I like to greet my human by looking straight into their eyes, and give a funny cute little meooow.<br/><br/>Luckily my rescuer gave me a chance when I fell on hard times.<br/>Long ago I once was someone’s fur baby but I ended up on the streets fending for myself. I was found with a bad injury on my leg… at the time I could not walk very well, dealing with mosquito allergies and I just didn’t feel good.<br/><br/>So they took me to the Vet… and poked and prodded to help me get all fixed up. I could tell the Vet and my rescuer were trying to help me get better.<br/><br/>The Vet did several tests and found out I’m a diabetic kitty and FIV positive.<br/>I now take insulin 2 x a day and eat a yummy diabetic prescription diet.<br/>In all this … I now feel like a new kitty and am able to keep my glucose levels balanced.<br/><br/>I know I’m kinda quirky looking and having special needs will make it hard to find my purrfect forever family. But I am hoping and want to believe my special family hero is out there and willing to give me the chance, love and understanding I am so hoping for.<br/>????<br/><br/>Because I am a good sweet kitty… yes I am….
