Sydney (with Eden's Story

DOB 5/1/26
Sydney is a cautious and careful boy. He watches his siblings play before joining in and often prefers to play alone or with his sister Eden. Wrestling and tag are his favorite games to play with her. He chases after ground toys: plastic jingle balls, fuzzy mice, paper, and string or ribbon. Sydney will climb up into a lap on the couch and purr for chin rubs and back scratches. Movement (hands or toys) above his head scare him. Sydney needs to be handled by people to gain their trust and have a playmate to feel comfortable. He is bonded to his sister Eden and needs to be adopted with her as they understand each other well and are a balanced pair.

PLEASE READ

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $150 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.

Adoption Requirements

To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require:
• A completed adoption application
• A home visit

Apply here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat

Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
