Swirls 's Story

Meet Swirls!

Swirls is a beautiful gray and white tabby— estimated to be around 5 years old. This handsome boy has been through a lot in his life, but despite it all, he has such a gentle and loving soul.

Swirls was rescued from an outdoor colony after surviving on his own for years. Life outside was not easy for him and when he was first rescued— he was in pretty rough shape. He was suffering from flea allergy dermatitis, which is a skin condition caused by an allergy to flea bites that can leave cats extremely itchy and uncomfortable. The good news is that now that Swirls is safe indoors and receiving regular monthly flea prevention, his skin has healed beautifully and he is doing great. He does not require any special treatment or ongoing medical care beyond normal care and flea prevention.

While Swirls can be a little shy at first in new environments or around new people, all he really needs is a little patience and time to feel safe. Once he settles in, his true personality shines through— and it is absolutely worth the wait. Swirls becomes incredibly affectionate, loves attention and will happily demand pets and love from his people. Seeing him finally relax and trust again has been so rewarding.

Since moving into a loving foster home, Swirls has truly come out of his shell. He’s learning what it means to feel safe, cared for and loved— now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can spend the rest of his life surrounded by comfort and kindness. In return, Swirls will give you a loyal and loving companion who will always appreciate the second chance he was given.

Swirls is fully vetted and ready for adoption. He is neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies, FVRCP with booster, and FeLV with booster), triple tested, fecal tested negative, microchipped and on monthly flea and tick prevention.

If you’re interested in meeting Swirls, learning more about him, or finding out more about our adoption process, please send us a message!
